Question Cold air intake

I've been looking around for a cold air intake for my '15 Sport 2.0T and I find that no one even has a 2015 model year listing. I know that Hyundai redesigned the body for '15, But did any thing change under the hood for the 2.0T ? Has anyone installed a cold air intake (was it a long or short intake) on the newer 2.0T motors, and what were your results ? Thanks all for your time. Ride On ! Bob

There has been a couple changes, namely the way the intakes are from what I can see so they probably have to modify the CAI's to accommodate that.

cold air intake

Hello gameday22, thanks for the pics. I've found that AEM has a CAI for the 2.0T. I have one on the way, I'll let you know how the fitment is. It's suppose to give you 8-10 HP and lbs-ft of torque. I'll let you know. Ride On ! Bob

cold air intake

I've just finished installing the AEM CAI on my '15 Sonata Sport 2.0T. The install was straight forward and easy to do. Took about 45 minutes and everything fit perfect. The results: 1. Just a small amount of growl inside on mild acceleration with noticeable growl on hard throttle 2. Throttle a little more responsive with some small power increase @3000 rpm. Concluesion: Would buy for the easy install, nice to have a differance in throttle response and slight power increase, but wouldn't spend the money on slight power increase alone.

Snowfly: The CAI came from Autoanything.com and was about $217 w/discount ELECT20 that ends 2-16-15. I don't know about warranty, if I have problems I'll slap the stock system back on.
