Dash lights blinking - won't start

I have a 2013 Sonata Turbo and last night I went to start it and the dash lights began blinking and the starter would just bump. The lights would not stop blinking until I hit the start button. No start. I checked the battery and it seemed OK. I put it on a charger and after about 5 minutes it started up. Happened again the next day. Is the blinking dash lights a sign of a weak charge? Never saw this before.

Lightbulb Dash Lights Blinking...

Greetings and welcome to the forums!!!
I've not heard of the "Dash Lights Blinking" as being an indicator of a low battery but it's certainly possible. That you charged it for 5 min., it started and then the next morning was the same... I'd say dead battery, light not shutting off, ie; a dome light (incandescent) will kill a battery overnight. Also, check your grounds and this could be a problem.

Go to Pep Boys, Autozone, Sears or the light and have you battery an charging system checked.

Good Luck and let us know about the Dash Flash.

Had on charger for awhile and nothing. Still get the blinking dash lights and won't start. They keep blinking until I hit the start button again. Sounds like it is trying to kick over but won't. I am getting over 12 volts on the battery. I guess my only option is to try a new battery.
