The XML2's work best in projector style fog light housings, but as you mentioned, they won't create a substantial amount of glare like a 55 watt HID conversion kit.

Here's an example in a projector style fog light for reference:

Hello, do you guys carry any XML2 bulbs in 881/880 size? I foglight kit is from Korea and they don't take H8's

Not yet unfortunately

The 880/1 bulb size is too small to support the XML2's heat sink requirements

You'll have a tough time finding an LED replacement that provides usable output in the 880/1 bulb size, but our HP36 model will provide a really nice appearance upgrade.

An HID conversion will provide more usable output and the look you are going for

$40 for a pair of fog/driving lamps..?

y'ouch!

Me thinks it prudent to stick with the stalwart Sylvania filament bulbs.

Hi there!

While our bulbs are certainly not the least expensive option, we design and test every product we offer in-house at our facility in St. Louis to ensure maximum functional output and reliability. Additionally, they're built with the highest quality components, and backed with a 3-year worry-free warranty!
