I recently purchased a 2014 Sonata Limited and randomly while driving I will lose the 'D' symbol from the dash, my illuminated blue dot next to the 'D' on my stick shift, & when backing up my rear camera view doesn't come up. It is like the computer forgets that I'm in drive and the only way to fix this is to restart the vehicle. Has anyone ever heard of this before? I took my vehicle in to have a shop hook it to the computer and, of course, no codes showed up on the reader.

I'm hoping that this can be resolved without replacing the transmission...but I honestly don't think it's a bad transmission.

Please help me solve this.

Sorry I don't have a direct answer for you, but: It could be as innocuous as a faulty wire connection. But I wouldn't risk Fing up my transmission by not bringing this to the attention of my mechanic as soon as possible.
