I bought my '11 with 26k miles back in Aug of '13. Recently it has started "slipping" going into 3rd gear. When shifting it will climb another 500-750 rpm before going to 3rd. Ive taken it to Hyundai and they have "reset the trans values", saying the car will learn my driving style and shift accordingly.

Sounds like crap to me.

Anyone have advice in this situation?

What does "learn your driving style" mean? Is it a software program or just a mechanical shifting mechanism?

If the problem comes back again then you will be able to tell Hyundai that it didn't learn. Hopefully they will give you a better answer next time.

Let us know if the problem persists.

Sounds like crap to me too.

It is software I assume. I'm going back to the dealer next week. Hopefully it will get fixed.

Also the service guy said to turn off the eco-mode, because that could make it feel as if it were slipping. 1k miles since not using eco and it is still doing it.
