Pick up my 2012 SE with nav on tuesday. One question is, the nav package. Will it update automatically?..For free?

I've heard the nav package still functions without the XM Nav subscription, but does the system/maps update after the XM Nav subscription lapses.

My salesman said(I know...famous last words).."That was old program, new Nav Package updates automatically vai satilite, and there is no update charge"

Last I checked this wasn't possible but if you check your owners manual it should state if it does update automatically.

I have a 2012 Sonata and the navigation is really bad now. I called the dealership and they told me that I would have to pay $499 to up date it. What a crock
