Here is a summary of the recent review of the 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid.

The Sonata Hybrid is "a striking mid-size sedan that offers good fuel economy." The basic changes from the previous Sonata Hybrid are increased efficiency, more features, and a slight price cut. Under the hood there is a 159 hp, 2.4L gasoline engine that is paired with an electric motor. The car gets 36 mpg in the city, and 40 mpg on the highway, Mostly, the vehicle just tries to emulate the success of its gas-powered sibling, the non-hybrid Sonata while being more efficient.

The 2013 Sonata Hybrid has some awesome features. Remotely activated heated seats mean that you can warm up the seats in your car before you get in in the winter. The new model also has unique wheels, a lower stance, and a special hybrid grille. An especially nice new policy is the lifetime warranty on the battery for original owners of Sonata Hybrids.

A downside of the new Sonata is some space issues. Tall passengers are lacking head room in the back seat, and the battery pack eats into some of the cargo space.

The Sonata is priced from $25,650-$30,550. The Hyundai Limited model is priced at $32,695.
