Hello,

Has anyone had an issue getting parts from the dealer? I have a 2021 Hyundai Sonata SEL, I purchased an OEM side mirror (previous one cracked) and upon confirming my VIN the dealership told me I purchased the wrong part#. The part number suggested was for a HYBRID and about $150 more, problem is I don’t own a hybrid. I have tried other dealerships and they are saying my VIN is coming up as a hybrid and they can not sell me a part without confirming the VIN first. One dealership went as far as telling me that my vehicle was made in Korea and it is possible they switched the VIN. I know… I know… buy the part on eBay.. however I want to confirm I have the right part. Hyundai consumer affair has stated it’s the correct VIN…. I purchased this vehicle brand new from Hyundai… any thoughts??
