Lets talk about what we use to clean our beauties up the right way. What have you used and had problems with, and what works the best for you?

If you don't know what you're doing, a buffer can do more harm than good. I sure don't know what I'm doing - not with a buffer, anyway.

I did this the old school Karate Kid way - wax on, wax off - by hand. Very happy with the result, though I have acquired no ass-kicking abilities as a result - just aching arms. Sponge pad for wax on, new, clean terry cloth buffing cloths for wax off.

I like using products for Autoglym. They are available locally and are good quality.

More importantly make sure you use nothing but plush microfiber cloths on your paint and when handwashing use high quality MF wash mitts or sheep skin wash mitts. If you can when washing use 2 buckets. One for wash and one for rinse.
