Thats what i like about the Plastic dip you can screw up. if you do peel it off and start over.

If you can't find it locally just buy it online. I use their plast dip in a can do coat my tools. Awesome stuff.

This stuff has so many purposes. Its pretty much universal, anything you can think of it works. everybody should just keep a bottle at home.
