Hey guys. Really excited as I just got my Hybrid Premium 2 days ago. Lovin it - and proud to show off with it.
Today I had a full car load of passengers - we're getting in and out frequently, when all of a sudden, the rear passenger side door wont open from the inside.
I'm in Park - all the door locks are open - no one messed with the child safety thingy - it's off, and the door just wont open from inside - only from outside.
I've tried opening and closing with the button on my door (driver door) multiple times, opening and closing the lock on the affected door multiple times - no avail. Checked the manual, but it dosent have a solution for that, exept mentioning the child safety lock - not on.
Any ideas? Planning to take it in soon as I can, but wondering if there's some easy fix I can do myself without crazy tools. I live hour and half away from where I bought it.

not too sure... sounds like the childlock thing broke in place. Time to head back to the dealership.

good thing your car is still bran new and they wont hesistate to fix any problems..

what about that infamous steering pulling left problem? do you feel that at all?

Nope - haven't felt that. it drives really well.

Just wondering how come after my first fuel re-fill it seems as if the MPG went wayy low and I'm at half tank much faster than on the dealer fill-up.
Oh well. Still trying to get used to it. Will be stopping by the dealer closer to me today - driving 150 miles to get my door looked at is kinda hard.
And will be making a calculation of miles used on this tank at next fill-up.

new CEL recall

FFwd to today (Tuesday August 2, 2011) finally took it to the dealership in my area. It just so happened that when I turned it on this morn at about 580 miles the CEL came on - I was already on the way to the dealership about the door thing, so I figured - great timing. They checked it and said there was recall that came up in reference to that CEL light and it was about a software upgrade relating to the "display"? Not sure - he didn't go into any details and I didn't have a chance to ask - they were jam packed there this morn. So if any of you know of or have heard of factory recall # TG2 I'd like to know more. The guy at the Hyundai place said that was the first he was hearing of that one. As for the door - they claimed the ordered a new door handle and will call me when it comes in - should be by about Thursday (2 days from now)
