received my flip key i ordered today in the mail...

its just a simple key case included with a uncut key that i transfer the original chip over from the oem remote..

the kit came with two uncut key blades, the one that is already installed on the keyblade anchor(the little metal part that holds the actual keyblade) and another blade that was just placed inside the package.

Both of the blades were different patterns and by measuring up the keyblades sidebyside with my existing original key, the keyblade that is NOT installed on the anchor happens to be the matching key that i need to get it cut...

now heres my question.. does anyone know how i remove the keyblade from the anchor itself? and also how to attach the keyblade back to the anchor?
tried and tried and searched and searched on the net but nothing :(

the housing should look something like this...

idk how well this image looks on your screen, but there is a little black spot in the bottom right corner, its a small rod, and all you have to do is push it out

after you push that out the key will separate with a little struggle, put the correct one in after you have it cut(my guy almost had a problem cutting the blank), and re insert the little rod, you might need to hammer it in and out. then reassemble the entire key it should be good to go.

yes, got it from the dsp store.
i got a reply back from the seller and he apologized for the inconvenience
said he will include a bran new package shipped to me first thing in the morning with two properly cut keyblades... i dont know if he means bran new package as in the whole new flip key case or just the keyblades? lol..

but anyways if it happens to be a bran new flipkey case shipped again than well thats a pretty good customer service i should say.. but ill see until i actually receive the item

Here are some pictures I dug up from April's flip key installment. I shaved the inside of the red panic button because it seem'd too sensitive. Best $20 I've ever spent!
