My Sonata is 6 months old. I consistantly got 5.2 - 6.0 l/100km's when I first bought it. Now at 15,000 Km's I'm getting 6.9 - 7.3 and no matter how carefully I drive, I can't get it below 6.7.
Anyone else come up against this?

MPG issues

Brakes could be sticking especially if E brake is not fully released.
tire pressure or the type of gas makes huge impact have any of those changed?
in the states we have blends w/ 10 and some with 15 % ethenal..
What a waste of power and MPG.
my 2011 limited gets on average 24 mpg daily driving (roughly 9.5l/100km)
thisis in a
50/50 city hwy driving and thats in the specs of the gov fuel rating.

straight hwy at 65-75 mph i get about 30mpg( 7.8l/100kmh ) and that great.
remember the avg us mpg is listed at 26/32 real world numbers are closer to 24/30 mpg

5.2 - 6.0 L/100 km's translates to 52 - 44 MPG (remember, our gallons are bigger than yours so it will look a little better when put in terms of mpg., but that's what I got for te first months.
