my gas door is keep getting jammed on my 2007... for example, when i press the gas door button to open my gas door, it just makes a trigger releasing (opening) sound but the gasdoor itself doesnt pop open and rather just sits, stuck on there.... it started doing this about a week ago when i went to the gas station... and its doing again again and again..

now everytime i go to the gas station, i have to ask other randoms to open the gas door for me while i hold down the gas door button..... and today especially, was freaken brutal due to the fact that there was NO ONE present at the gas station and i had to wait around for someone to come fuel their car so i can get them to open my gas door while i press the button down arghhhhhhhh%$%#$^$%^#$

The solenoid that actually pops the door open might have given out. Worth checking out if that's still under warranty.
no more warranty left for me :(
Does the Emergency release in the Trunk work???
as far as i know..yes..
It might be easier to pop the trunk and pull the emergency release to open the fuel door than having to ask someone to pull it for you? at least until you can figure out what the problem is and get it fixed. I think the actual fuel door is spring loaded to pop out once the release is triggered. (not 100% sure) I'll take a look at mine closely tonight
yes if i were you i would just use the emergency release like the gentleman above said, until your willing to pay to have it fixed, it sounds like a problem with the locking mech.
lol wow i feel like an idiot now... all my previous cars were manual gas caps and never got around to use one of the 'emergency' gas cap triggers...... i guess life got a bit more easier for me now, pop the trunk and fukkkyeahh...
**** were just glad your not just standing there waiting anymore
