Got a set from China for $20, which included a dome, vanity, map and trunk bulbs. They all look gorgeous, but I noticed that the dome light stays on very faintly when the car is shut off. I can kill to completely by the switch, but why would there be any electricity flowing to it. It's really faint, but I can still see it. Is there a capacitor in the bulbs that hold some charge? I'm going out to see if it's still on faintly. Thoughts? Any of you?

I'd say otherwise. It should be a problem with your stick wiring and not the LED.
When the factory switch is turned off there should be no power to the LEDs.

Do a test and remove the panels and use a volt meter to measure if there is any current going through the terminals when the car is off.

It's normal for LEDs to stay on very dim even when they are turned off. This is due to the extremely low power consumption of LEDs vs. Incandescent bulbs.

With LEDs you definitely get what you pay for IMO...good luck OP!

Thanks,
Nick C.
