Not the best photos but here is my grill that i painted black on my 2010 sonata. It is not that much of a diference but I think it looks good.

oh btw you should have just removed the grill instead of newspapering your car, your radiator is probably sprayed nicely to black

it litereally takes 15mins, maybe not even lol!

hmmm I might try and do that. I need to touch it up when it gets nice out side. I am going to get new photos tommorow with my camera. these ones are my crappy cell phone. thank you for the info.Is there any place i can find to get instrutions on removing the grill??
