I have a $90 option on my 2013 Sonata Hybrid Limited, it is nitrogen in the tires, Does anyone know what this is supposed to do and if it really does anything that regular air does not do?

I just googled it and found this....

Filling your tires with nitrogen mainly does two things: it eliminates moisture, and it replaces skinny oxygen molecules with fat nitrogen molecules, reducing the rate at which compressed gas diffuses through porous tire walls. That means, theoretically at least, that a tire filled with nitrogen retains optimal pressure longer, leading to more uniform tire wear and better gas mileage.

$90 to fill up but how often do you have to fill up? It's obviously not as frequent as filling up regular air.

No matter what I rather stick with regular air and keep a tire pressure gauge in my car and spend an extra minute when filling up gas to check all tire pressures.
