Another prospective buyer. I'm big on DIY to know it was done right.

So far I've been able to do all maintenance on my Outlander since I bought it with 30k miles on it in '09. I'm at 135k miles so far and it is pulling strong. Worst maintenance job so far was timing belt and spark plug replacements. My Ranger will eventually become a winter beater / summer hauler sitting at 195k miles. She's getting older and you can tell.

My wife drives an hour to work each day and we are looking to start our family. We are looking to get a sedan that will be a gas sipper for her commute, something to nicely haul kids around, and something I can still do maintenance on (routine oil to power steering replacements). I think the Sonata looks good for the first two, I need to do research for the third requirement.
