We purchased our 2022 sonata nline after we owned our 2020 sonata ultimate. We okvrd all the features of the sonata as well as the looks. In May of last year i had an accident where I drove off the road at 90 km/h straight into.a tree. Car was crumpled and a total write off. I did not have a scratch on me. The safety features on this car was amazing. That lead me to buy another sonata.
We decided to upgrade to the N Line this time.

This car looks great and has some awesome features. Here is the thing. I am not happy with this car at all.

Since the day we picked up the car we had a vibration. I told the dealership and they re balanced the wheels. I could still feel a vibration at 80km/h and over. Then one day while driving on the highway the car started to shake so bad that I had to stop. I called the dealership and had the car towed. After a few days on the shop they said that they found there was a strap piece inside the rim that was to help with road noise. This strap had come loose on one of the wheels. They replaced that rim and sent me on my way.

After having the car returned I again drove on the highway using the HDA. I could stillmfeel a vibration in the seats and the steering wheel but also noticed that the HDA was constantly correcting itself side to side and would turn off on its own. It also would give me the need a break warning too while using HDA. .

I have spoken again to the dealership and their response is that they are talking to Hyundai engineers to find the problem. Note that I have also bought 4 new tires and rims and had the dealership mount and install them to be sure that they have done to their specifications.

I have told them about looking intonthe wheel alignment as that could cause vibrations but also cause tge constant corrections.

All-in all I am very frustrated with this brand new car that drives worse than my 2014 veloster. I guess my question is has anyone else had any of these issues and if so what was the cause and what was done to fix it?

we have 2022 sonata hybrid blue and are experiencing the same problem my dealerships said they didn’t feel anything and the other one said it was road conditions I am not pleased with these answers so I reached out to Hyundai myself and contactedconsumer affairs to get the engineers involved they told me I would be responsible for labor cost if they found nothing wrong
