First off I am wondering if you are planning on buying a Sonata Turbo, or a Sonata Hybrid.

And then I am curious to know which vehicle you are going to be replacing with your new Sonata.

Lastly I am wondering what other vehicles you are comparing to the Sonata before you buy.

Just trying to get an idea of what are comparable cars, and what kinds of cars people are generally buying in this market.

I just replaced my 2011 Genesis 3.8L Tech (end of lease) with a Sonata 2.0T Limited Premium (lease). I really didn't look at anything else...

My first car was a Mercury Grand Marquis. All red everything. It was great. When/if I get a Sonata it would be a step up from my old Mercury. And a step up from my current 2006 ford fusion.
How's your Fusion done so far? Not so good?

My new 3 day old 2013 Sonata SE replaced my Infiniti EX35. The EX was a very good car, no complaints, but it had 2k to warranty expiration and the gas mileage sucked, but 300hp was nice. We shall see how the Sonata works out. Doing lots of surfing to get familiar with the ins and outs; so far so good.

just curious but how old was your jeep?
would you ever plan on getting a jeep again in the future?
the new cherokee's look pretty awesome
Sorry for the late reply. It was a 2010, had 75K on it. It also had over sized tires on it. 35"BFG KM2s to be exact with a 2.5" lift.

I do plan on getting the Wrangler with the Diesel engine when it comes out in the states. Rumor is that it will be about 2016 or 17. My wife would kill me if I took something off road like the Cherokee $$$$$.

I just bought a 2013 Sonata GLS w/ popular package, paid $18,125. Traded in my 2007 Nissan Altima, and I looked at the 2014 Kia Forte EX and the 2013 Kia Optima. We had traded in my wife's 2011 Tucson GLS for a 2013 Santa Fe GLS 7 Passenger back in July, that is an amazing vehicle, and I'm loving mine.

Recently traded my wife's 1999 Nissan Maxima SE Limited with 127,000 miles on odo for a 2013 Sonata SE Ruby Red with black interior. Smooth running, quite 2.4L engine, but the Hankook H431 tires are terribly noisy. Hyundai should be ashamed for putting such poor tires on a otherwise great car.

I replaced a 2011 Veracruz Limited (28026 miles) on my Sonata SE. I had originally been down to 4 - Fusion, Optima, Altima SV, and Sonata. I love many of the features of the Kia Optima, but I think I will give it one more generation. The Fusion was too pricey for the features I wanted. The final too were the Altima & the Sonata. The Nissan dealer just didn't get it. I think he thought I was going to hang around or come back to see if I could get a better deal. I told him it was down to him and Hyundai but he came back very uncommitted. In the end I am very happy with what I got!

Long List

Traded in 2013: 2013 SE 2.0T
Traded in 2013: 2007 Sienna for 2014 Sienna
Traded in 2011: 2011 SE 2.0T
Bought in 2009: 2009 Corolla XLE (Temp Ride)
Bought in 2007: 2007 Toyota Sienna XLE
Totaled in 2009: 2003 Mercedes
Bought in 2006: 2003 Yamaha YZF R1
Bought in 2003: 2003 Mercedes C32 AMG
Bought in 2002: 2002 Ford F-150 CrewCab 4WD

Still have my college sports car: 1996 Honda Del Sol Si

When trading in the Corolla, I looked at several cars. Camry, Maxima, Honda. Couldn't afford to go back to Mercedes, the original car I was trying to replace. The Corolla was a last minute, winter, (need a car!) buy.

Couldn't tolerate the noisy Hankook tires so replaced them with UHP AS Cooper Zeon RS3-A. Less noise and much more precise steering response.

Replaced 97 Chevy Lumina, Bought 2013 Sonata limited turbo 2.0 w/premium package. Sure is fast, but gas mileage sucks. Looked at Toyota Camry, Cadillac CTS, Nissan Altima, Chevy Impala.

I am going from my 300+ hp g35 to the 2013 GLS Sonata, I fell in love with the sonata as soon as I saw it and didn't look at any other cars, I will miss the power but i love the MPG.... I couldn't go that fast in LA anyways.
