Wheel looks

what do you guys think, i have a silver car, and i dont know what color wheels to get, i like the look of the black, but i dont know how it will offset against the silver paint, but on the other hand, chrome might be too much, and if i get them similar to the color of the car, then whats the point?

is there a specific wheel you are looking to get?
cuz color is important too, but IMO the face design, size/offset/width and wether if its concave/flat/dish depends the most on the looks wise...
personally something a little agressive is a good look on alot of cars, something that sits flush

have you thought of hyper silver? it generally looks good on many colors, its quite universal, but again, depends on which type of wheel you are looking to get.

Gun metal wheels +volk te37 look good on silver cars also

and please for the love of god, do not go chrome.... its the cheesiest thing you can do to your car UNLESS you got the correct size, stance and the brand wheel to back it up.. like this... Work varianza t1s chrome on is350.. yumm

and what i mean by correct size/flush stance

this is how gay cheap no name brand chrome wheels look with hellaweak offset/size....

so.. if you are gonna go with chrome, spend the dough and get it done properly with actual wheels.... or just dont bother

I'd say either Black or gray wheels.

Advan connoisseur 151c in gun metal would look pretty good on a Sonata I think.

^those are the wheels my buddy has on his wrx now
@jpark the volks in the second pic are **** nice
the reason im thinking of black is that i have brought some black into the car, and if i find the right looking wheels, then i think it would flow nicly
Just did a quick little edit of a photo I found... Gunmetal does definitely look rad.

^ Those would look good if they were a little bit darker.
hmm not really a fan of the gunmetal photoshop job u did on the gen coupe wheels.. the hyper silver on it is already sexy enough in my opinion

I love chrome wheels, LOL! Being that I'm on the Gencoupe forum also (because I also own a GCoupe) I see many of the guys going for colored rims, plasti-dip, flat, etc., but like I said, I like chrome. For my Sonata, I didn't like the stock Sonata chrome rims the dealer had, but they had some nice chrome Azera rims which were exactly the same size as my "stock" Limited rims (which are larger than the rims/wheels on the "stock" and GLS Sonata's; 16's versus 17's). So I went with them and I don't think they look cheap, cheesy, gay or anything like that, LOL. In fact, I get compliments on them all the time and people say they don't look "stock", but they don't look aftermarket either. I think its because they were made for the Azera, not the Sonata, but I LOVE them!

And if anyone is interested, I still have the "stock" silver alloy Limited rims, very minimal road rash! :D
